The World Public Welfare Alliance Foundation (WPWAF) officially launched with its inaugural gala, “Lumina 919 – Where Light Begins,” in Kuala Lumpur, marking a new chapter in international philanthropy and public welfare collaboration. Guided by its commitment to transparency, sustainability and social empowerment, the Foundation is developing a Public Welfare Traceability System, establishing dedicated development funds, and building strategic partnerships to address social, environmental, humanitarian and educational challenges. Through its strategic collaboration with the Malaysian Council for Rehabilitation, WPWAF also aims to advance disability skills development, vocational training and international exchange, empowering individuals and communities to create lasting, meaningful social impact.

A new chapter in community empowerment and public welfare began on 18 June 2026 as the World Public Welfare Alliance Foundation (WPWAF) and Malaysia Community Crime Care (MCCC) signed a strategic cooperation agreement. The partnership reflects a shared commitment to promoting community safety, social responsibility, and sustainable development through education, prevention, and public service initiatives.

The Malaysia-China Business and Cultural Chinese New Year Networking Exchange was successfully held on 22 February 2026 in Puchong, Selangor, with close to 60 attendees.
