Official Clarification Statement | Unauthorized Cancer Fundraising Promotional Material

The World Public Welfare Alliance Foundation (WPWAF) hereby issues the following clarification:

Recently, the Foundation became aware of a cancer fundraising promotional material that used the name and logo of the National Cancer Society of Malaysia (NCSM)and also included the Foundation’s bank account information.

We hereby clarify that:
❌ WPWAF has never officially approved, authorized, or conducted any cancer fundraising activity referred to in the said promotional material.

❌ WPWAF has not entered into any formal cooperation agreement with NCSM, nor obtained authorization from NCSM for such fundraising activities.

❌ The said promotional material was not officially approved or issued by WPWAF.

WPWAF places great importance on transparency, proper procedures, and public trust in all charitable activities. Any project involving the name, logo, or fundraising activities of another charitable organization must receive proper authorization and written approval before being publicly conducted or promoted.

If members of the public have recently received or come across the said promotional material, *please do not make any donation or payment based on the information contained therein. We strongly recommend verifying any related information through the official channels of the relevant organizations.
